Summer 2015 in The Hamptons – Six East End Events to Visit This Summer

The Hamptons is never short on stuff to do – resorts, museums, shops and relaxing on the beach are some of the main things that visitors tend enjoy. But in addition to the regular weekend by the sea, there are also a plethora of activities available all summer long. Here are some of the can’t miss events coming up this summer that you may want to add to the agenda.

• East End Garden Festival – An impressive presentation of the East End garden community, this annual Westhampton Beach festival attracts flower and plant lovers of all ages. • The Greatest Gatsby Party – It wouldn’t be a summer in the Hamptons without a Gatsby-themed party. This happening event will have it all – Red Carpet arrivals, a strict 20s dress code and amazing DJs spinning all night long. • 11th Annual Hampton’s Happening – A yearly fundraiser for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, this Bridgehampton gala has been lavishing guests with incredible food from local chefs for over ten years. •Southampton Polish Festival – Join Southampton’s vibrant Polish community for an afternoon of music, food, exhibitions and games. The free event on August 1st will be held at the historic Rogers Mansion, home of the Southampton Historical Museum. This gorgeous museum also hosts many family-friendly events all year long, meaning you can enjoy the beautiful and historic properties whenever you desire.

•Hampton Beach Children’s Festival – This family friendly week has been attracting fun lovers of all ages to Hampton Beach for years. This year, the event will held from Monday, August 17th-Friday, August 21st. Featuring dozens of free activities for kids and their families, the Children’s Festival offers something for everyone. From magic shows to costume contests, this festival is a can’t miss for families of all sizes.
